Dr. LeMon, on February 4, provided the opening invocation to the US House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. A video of Cal’s prayer can be accessed with the following link http://bit.ly/wlj0Ts.
For the fourth time in the past 14 years, Dr. LeMon recently presented the keynote address to the Employee Practices Network in Kansas City, Missouri. The most memorable keynote Cal provided for this group was on September 13, 2001. In the emotional aftermath of the destruction of the World Trade Center, Cal centered his audience on taking time to grieve and then making the spiritual and emotional room for "starting over." Needless to say, the members of this professional association have a special place for Cal in their history.
For the past three years, Cal has spent one week every month in Denver, Colorado and Roosevelt, Utah. No, this is not vacation time. Dr. LeMon is training and coaching "emerging leaders" in Newfield Exploration, an oil and gas production company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Cal teaches a customized curriculum of nine core courses and then, face-to-face, coaches these new managers on how to be outstanding leaders.
